Silk Lab

The Silk Lab has been developed to assist the underprivileged women of Phouk District in the Siem Reap Province to help support their families by providing social and economic security these women have the chance to take their future into their own hands. The women, aged between 17 and 27, have all be trained to become professional seamstresses and have additional English classes too.

They produce a beautiful selection of fashionable silk products including funky handbags, make up bags and purses. The products are sold at the center, Angkor Night Market and various hotels in Siem Reap.
